The highlight of the retreat is a traditional
Inipi (Sweat Lodge) Purification Ceremony and you will be involved in hands on
preparation, before experiencing the physical, emotional and spiritual
benefits of purification. The significance for most non-Indians is
bonding to their respective beliefs of their own god/ divine source. The spiritual
bond is likened to an attachment to Mother Earth as one sits within her
warm womb. It can be a key function in the search for a spiritual link
to Gods' creation - nature and the environment. A blessing and
purification ceremony is conducted in four cycles, calling upon the four
directions and incorporating the four elements of the ecosystem.
